Chrome extension — record mic and tab audio

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 22, 2026.

These terms cover the Audio Recorder – Voice Recorder Chrome extension and the website at audiorecordervoicerecorder.extsite.tech. By installing the extension or using the site, you agree to them.

The product

The extension records microphone audio, tab audio, or both inside Chrome, then lets you pause, trim, rename, and export takes as WebM, OGG, WAV, or MP3. Recordings stay in your browser until you download, share, or delete them. The website explains how to use the extension. It does not store your audio.

The Chrome Web Store listing

Installation is offered through the Chrome Web Store. Google's terms also apply to that listing, payments Google processes, and your Chrome account. We do not operate a separate checkout on this website.

Subscriptions

Some features may be available by subscription. A trial period may be available. If a paid option is offered, the price and what it includes are shown before you pay, in the extension or on the Chrome Web Store. This website does not charge you directly.

Your recordings

You are responsible for the audio you record. Record other people only when you have the right to do so, including any consent your local law requires. Do not use the extension to capture audio you are not allowed to keep or share.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the extension or the site: no attempts to break the services, probe them without permission, or interfere with other people. Do not rely on the extension for emergency calls or any use where a failed recording could cause harm.

Limits

The extension is provided as available. Chrome can block capture on internal pages, a microphone can be denied, and disk space can run out. We do not promise uninterrupted recording or that every site's audio can be captured. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost takes, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from use of the extension or the site.

Privacy

How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy. Those practices are part of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
